With the estradiol patch shortage affecting pharmacies across the country, one of the most common questions we're hearing is "what are my other options?"

Estrogen comes in several forms. Each delivers the same hormone, but through a different method and daily routine.

Each one has its own considerations, and your provider can help you figure out which one makes the most sense for your body and your lifestyle.

If your pharmacy is out of your usual prescription, that doesn't mean you have to go without treatment. Talk to your provider about whether a different delivery method could work for you while supply catches up.

635 women signed up for The HRT Club in March, and because of them, women's health research just got a little more funding.

Women's health has been underfunded for decades. Only a small fraction of medical research dollars go toward conditions that affect women specifically, and menopause research is one of the most overlooked areas of all. Women's Health Access Matters is working to change that.

Nearly 40% of women say they were misdiagnosed when seeking care for perimenopause symptoms, and only 15% felt they even knew what perimenopause was when it started.

Perimenopause doesn't show up as one thing - it affects your brain, your gut, your joints, your sleep, your mood.

Because those symptoms overlap with so many other conditions, it's often the last thing that gets considered instead of the first.

Perimenopause can coexist with any of these conditions, but if no one's looking at the hormonal side, you could be treating symptoms for years without ever addressing what's actually fueling them.
