I am so excited to finally announce the newest addition to my services: I am now offering Birth Doula Support!
Many people have heard the word doula but aren’t exactly sure what a doula does. A doula is a trained support person who provides emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I do not replace your partner or medical team; I work alongside them to make sure you feel supported, informed, calm, and confident throughout your birth experience.
Research has shown that having a doula can lead to shorter labors, fewer interventions, lower cesarean rates, less need for pain medication, and overall more positive birth experiences. But beyond all the research, the biggest reason to hire a doula is simple — you deserve to feel supported and not alone during one of the most important days of your life.
My approach as a doula is calm, grounded, and supportive. I believe birth is not just a physical experience, but also an emotional and life-changing one. My goal is to hold space for you, support your partner, help you understand what is happening during labor, and help you feel confident in your decisions and your body.
As I complete my doula certification, I need to attend three births. Because of this, I am offering my full doula package at a deep discount — normally $1200, currently $600 for the next three families who book with me.
