The ROSA® Knee system is a great example of innovation in the operating room.

This is called an intertrochanteric femur fracture and is common in the elderly after a ground-level fall.

Fixation is done with a rod placed in the center of the femur which stabilizes the two fragments while it heals. The patient is usually allowed to walk with some assistance right after surgery.
