My page has been dark for a long time. Here is why...
Almost three years ago my husband noticed something was wrong, really wrong. He rushed me to the hospital. He was sure I was having a stroke. I was immediately take back. They took blood, took my vitals, did and xray and a CT scan. They also thought I was having a stroke. This particular hospital did not have a telemetry unit. I was taken by ambulance to a bigger hospital.
More tests, MRI, EEG, EKG. and all the other letters of the alphabet.
Finally, they had ruled out a stroke. They had ruled out a brain tumor, they had ruled out lupus, they had ruled out MS.
Final diagnosis: Epilepsy. I had been having a series of seizures.
It can take months to years to get the right medications and dosages in sync to keep seizures at bay and while I am still tweaking these things I feel ready to start seeing clients again!
