This Easter, we recognize a season that speaks to renewal, hope, and the quiet strength of new beginnings. It’s a reminder that even after the hardest seasons, there is always the possibility of growth, healing, and light.

At Brighton Marine, that promise is reflected in the work we do every day, supporting veterans and military-connected families as they rebuild, recover, and move forward with dignity. We wish all who celebrate, a peaceful and hopeful Easter.

April is the Month of the Military Child. It's a time to recognize the more than 1.6 million children who grow up in military-connected families, often navigating frequent moves, long separations, and the quiet weight of service alongside their parents.

Young lives. Big stories. Each one marked by courage, adaptability, and a depth of experience far beyond their years, reminding us that service is not carried by one, but by an entire family.

At Brighton Marine, we know that supporting veterans and military-connected families means supporting the whole family, including the children whose strength and resilience often go unseen. Throughout this month, communities across the country “Purple Up” to show that these young people are recognized, valued, and never standing alone.

To every military child: your resilience inspires us, your sacrifices matter, and your future is worth investing in.

As we conclude Kidney Health Month, it is an important time to reflect on the everyday habits that support long-term health.

The kidneys are essential to overall well-being, and protecting them can begin with simple, intentional actions—such as staying hydrated, eating balanced meals, monitoring blood pressure, and keeping up with regular care.

At Brighton Marine, we are committed to supporting the health and well-being of those we serve by encouraging sustainable, preventive care practices.

Did you know Brighton Marine’s story began more than 200 years ago?

In 1798, when John Adams was president, Congress passed “An Act for the Relief of Sick and Disabled Seamen.” The law created the Marine Hospital Service, which provided healthcare to merchant seamen who helped power the nation’s growing economy.

Today, Brighton Marine continues this historic mission—supporting Veterans, military families, and the broader community through healthcare, housing, and supportive programs.
