I think at this point, if you don’t have any physical limitations, it literally doesn’t make any sense to not engage in strength training.
You don’t have to like it, you just do it because you should.
Bone density, benefits for your nervous system, for you brain, adding muscle as you age, for your mood, heart health. The list is endless and if you’re not doing it in some capacity you’re leaving good quality years on the table.
You brush your teeth not because you like doing it but because you know you should.
Lifting weights is now in that territory of being something you have to do in order to live and age well.
