This morning, Oak Orchard Health received a generous $20,000 grant from our partners at Fidelis Care to help strengthen preventative care across our rural communities. There’s no better way to celebrate than by investing in the health and well-being of the people who make our rural areas so special.

We are beyond grateful to receive funding from Fidelis Care to provide increased access to low-income patients in the communities we serve.

Estella Sanchez-Cacique, OOH Patient Engagment Services Manager, has lived in a rural community for most of her life and knows the value of community health centers. On National Rural Health Day we highlight her story like so many others who would not have received essential healthcare had it not been for ccommunity health centers like Oak Orchard Health.

As someone who has lived in a rural community for most of my life, I know firsthand the critical role that Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) like Oak Orchard Health, play in ensuring access to essential healthcare services.

Last evening the Rochester Business Journal hosted and celebrated the Forty Under 40 awards. We congratulate Robin Govanlu, LMHC, Chief of Behavioral Health at OOH, who was honored at the event. As of August 1, Canisteo Valley Family Practice joined Oak Orchard Health at our Hornell office. We welcome the medical providers, staff, and patients to our health center. With expanded hours and services, we look forward to continuing to provide quality care.

We have a full panel for physicians, pediatricians, dentists, nurses and care managers in the Hornell health center. This is one of our newest locations.
