Yesterday, at Saint Joseph Manor, we honored our proud veterans – our nations heroes.

Our Administrator began the ceremony with a prayer and words of recognition. Our dietary team prepared a delicious meal, complete with appetizers, prime rib and dessert. Sunset Hospice provided our veterans with a certificate of honor and gifts of appreciation. Josh Friedman provided patriotic music and students from the Downey School SmartStart program created beautiful cards & pictures.

To all veterans, past and present, we celebrate your service always. Your dedication and courage will never be forgotten. We salute you. ❤️🇺🇸💙

Our Veterans’ Club 🇺🇸 is hosted monthly by Bethany from Sunset Hospice. This dedicated group honors and celebrates the service of our residents with military backgrounds. It is a supportive space for camaraderie, shared storytelling, and purpose for those who have served. Thank you Veterans! 🙏🏻🫡❤️☕️🍩
