I’m participating in a 5k in Chicago next weekend to support the Brain Tumor Association.

My girlfriend Jessie’s dad passed away in 2021 after a 25-year battle with a brain tumor and another rare disease. A few months later, she took a job at the ABTA to support their important mission and to help other families.

The ABTA was founded 50 years ago and is the nation’s largest non-profit organization funding novel brain tumor research and providing support services to patients and caregivers.

As an optometrist, I’ve identified patients with brain tumors while in my office. It’s a terrible disease that needs more awareness and research to find a cure.

If you’re able, I would appreciate any support of my fundraiser before April 30. Thank you in advance!

Beloit Family Eyecare/Brodhead Vision will be reopening on May 11th on a limited basis. We are very excited to be reopening soon. Health and safety is our number ONE concern. There will be some important changes in the way things are handled at the clinic. We will be requiring any patient coming into the clinic to have a mask on before entering the building. We will have a sanitizing station set up at the door for your convenience. The staff will also be wearing masks during your visit with us. We will be cleaning and sanitizing after every patient encounter to ensure a safe visit. We ask that you come to your appointment by yourself to help limit the number of patients in the clinic unless a child is accompanied by ONE adult. This also applies to anyone that requires assistance. We will be asking that you call to set up an appointment for any other visits as well (picking up product, adjustments, new glasses orders). We will be cleaning after every patient visit to ensure safety for you and the staff. If you are sick in any way, we ask that you hold off on any appointments that you have scheduled. Please call ahead for any of your needs.

Brodhead Vision Clinic has made the difficult decision to close the office for the next 2 weeks. We want to insure safety for our employees and patients! We are tentatively scheduled to re-open on April 13th. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope you stay healthy and safe.

Updated hours
Wednesdays we will only be open until 5 instead of 7.

During this time Beloit Family Eyecare/Brodhead Vision Clinic will be unable to see patients for their Routine or Medical exams. We are following the CDC Guidelines to postpone these visits. We however, for the time being will be open for pick ups (glasses & contacts). We will not be able to assist you with picking out new glasses at this time. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause. We are taking our employees and patients health to heart! Check back for updates.
