I’m here at the courthouse for day two of the jury selection process. Dr. Sam will be stepping with all patients scheduled for the morning! By now, everyone should have received calls from Timi and Jean.

It does appear that my presence will be required at the courthouse for the remainder of the day.

Jean and Timi have, by now, called most of you to confirm your same appointment time with Dr. Sam. He is a lifesaver for me this week! 😅

Wanted to share a quick note with everyone: I (Dr. Whitham) was called for Jury Duty, which will begin tomorrow (02/02). As is the nature of Jury Duty, I won’t know if I’m selected until I appear Monday morning.

As a result, I have offered for all Monday morning patients to keep their original appointment times and see Dr. Sam. He and I have gone over specifics for all the patients.

If I am selected for a case, we will offer the Monday afternoon patients the same opportunity to see Dr. Sam and will continue this process until my service is complete. If you need to be seen this week, please call in (918-251-8889) and Dr. Sam will be happy to take care of you!

If I am not selected, I will head back to the office and continue seeing patients as regularly scheduled.

AWE Clinic is Open Tuesday (01/27)!

Dr. Whitham and Dr. Sam will be seeing patients for scheduled appointments. If you need an appointment tomorrow or need to reschedule, please call 918-251-8889.

Dr. Whitham will be in the office Monday starting at 10:00am for scheduled appointments.

**Note: if you have a confirmed appointment before 10am, please plan to arrive at 10:00 and be worked into the schedule.

Dr. Sam’s scheduled patients will be called and rescheduled for later this week!

If you feel unsafe, in any way, getting out, please call and we will gladly reschedule your appointment!

It seems all but certain now there will be a sizable amount of snow in the Tulsa Metro.

We already have Joe Mann on the ready to clear our lot once the snow ends.

He does great work and I highly recommend him! I remember, during the 2011 snow storm, driving around trying to flag down someone with a snow plow to clear away our parking lot, so it’s a relief to have someone trusted and local on the ready.

We are so honored to welcome Dr. Sam Diskerud, D.C. as the newest member of our team!

Dr. Sam will utilize his skill, knowledge and perspective in a way that I believe will serve and help many. He brings his Chiropractic training from Logan University College of Chiropractic where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and his bachelors degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Northeastern State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Sam has undergone postgraduate training in Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) and is being mentored and trained by Dr. Whitham and Dr. Norman. He will utilize many of the same tools and techniques as Dr. Whitham and we believe this will provide continuity for patients to have greater access to this model of care we have created at AWE Clinic!

While he was born in Anchorage, Alaska, Owasso is home for Dr. Sam. He is an Owasso High School graduate where he ran track and cross country. He is excited to be back home to care for his community.

Dr. Sam and his wife, Ashley, married in 2019 and have a Poodle named LadyBird! He enjoys the outdoors, running and spending time with his family. He has a goal to run in every state!
