Certified Home Health Aides, Marquesha and Laura, have been providing specialized care for individuals suffering from progressive neurodegenerative diseases for almost 8 years with A Vow Hospice. They spent hours and hours training on the job to learn how to best care for this population. These ladies provide assistance with showering, bathing, shampooing, shaving, makeup application, hair stying, and even hair trims. They provide assistance based on the individual needs of the patient. They assist with feeding, meal prep, cleaning, and laundry to lighten the load of caregivers and family members. They cry with our patients and they make our patients laugh on their hardest days. THIS is hospice🩷
**Our team was honored to provide care to Mr S. In the final moments of his life. His family wished to show their love and appreciation of Marquesha and Laura and asked for this photo to be shared publicly!

There are many misconceptions about what hospice is. One of these misconceptions is that “hospice is giving up”. I can assure you that is NOT what hospice is. We were honored to take one of our precious patients dancing last night! He learned to dance the 2 step at the age of 65. And enjoyed attending regular senior dances until Covid came. When I admitted him to hospice one of the first things he said was he wanted to go dancing again. Mr S. and our staff had the best time dancing. We love you Mr S.❤️

If you drop by our office for a visit there is a HUGE chance you will run into one of our many office fur babies. This is Bentley with Patient Liaison(and dog owner) Christy. He visits our ENTIRE office. Loves on us. Eats with us. And his brother Boston is always with him! Pet therapy research has shown that our furry friends can lower stress, elevated heart rate, and even blood pressure!
