Service Provided: 10 & 24 Hour ADSAC Classes
ADSAC stands for alcohol drug substance abuse course. I offer a 10 hour and a 24 hour. In this class individuals learn about the laws and consequences of anything alcohol drug related. They also learn about the different effects of alcohol and drugs on driving ability, as well as the effects on the body (physical and psychological). Individuals will be able to take a personal look at their own pattern of use and the differences between responsible use, misuse, and problem use, as well as be informed of the clinical diagnosis critera for substance use disorder. Also, we discuss how substance use can effect family, friends, coworkers, school, employment, and community. Throughout this educational course we go over a personal change plan where we discuss the 5 Stages of Change. This allows an individual to set a goal and develop a plan of action in regards to substance use/abuse, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, and/or possession of illicit drugs.
I provide a comfortable, non-judgmental environment where clients can reflect on their choices and identify and correct problematic behavior.
This course meets requiremements for Department of Public Safety driver's license reinstatement standards.
10 Hour ADSAC is $150 and is split up into 3 different days.
24 Hour ADSAC is $360 and is scheduled twice a week, which can be completed in 6 weeks (total of 12 classes).
