BBHS Culinary students continued their veggie education today by chopping, dicing, and mixing up some fresh salsa! 🌶️🍅 From garden to table, they learned how simple ingredients can make a big flavor impact. Even Mr. McGee couldn’t resist joining in—and rumor has it, his salsa was almost too good to share! 😄🧑‍🍳

🥬 What better way to learn about the different kinds of lettuce than by prepping a salad! Mrs. Anderson’s culinary classes enjoyed making a fresh salad containing various lettuce types such as romaine, green leaf, and red leaf lettuce. They also prepared fresh croutons and homemade ranch! They enjoyed their work so quickly Mrs. Anderson didn’t get the chance to snap any pictures with their salads 😋 🥗

🍂🎃 Fall fun and community connection! 🎃🍂

BBHS FCCLA members hosted a Fall Fest for the residents of Alpaca Retirement Ranch today! Residents enjoyed playing games, winning prizes, and snacking on delicious treats prepared by Mrs. Anderson’s culinary students. Smiles, laughter, and friendship filled the day — what a wonderful way to celebrate the season! We cant wait to see them again in December for Christmas time! 🎄 ❤️✨

✨ 🎨 Today Mrs. Anderson’s FCS classes put their creativity and knowledge to use!

🔹FCS Basics has been learning about personalities and self-esteem. They created Polaroids of Positivity, where they drew a self-portrait or symbols of their personalities and then wrote a positive affirmation or personal value.🫶🏻
🔸Hospitality & Tourism have been learning about the history of the Hospitality industry. They created Postcards of Hospitality Past, depicting some of the very first tourist attractions with locations such as the Pyramids of Giza and the Roman Colosseum!✈️
🔹Culinary courses have been learning about the food service industry. They created Chef Hat Highlights, where they chose a food service career, an interesting fact, and a food service related goal. 👨🏽‍🍳

If you’re in the building, feel free to pop by and take a closer look! They did a fantastic job 🖤💛
