We’re thankful for moments like this one: for the first time in more than two and a half years, one of our residents with macular degeneration was able to make her cinnamon rolls again, with the help of our wonderful Activity Director, Rachael. The joy on her face says it all. 🥰

As we enter November, we’re taking time to reflect on the many moments that make life at Quality Senior Villages so special. Check the page often as we’ll be sharing some of the things we’re most thankful for big and small. 💛

We love to see a fun new director! Can’t wait to see all of the good times to be had by the residents at Custer Care! Welcome Megan! 🎉

💛 Warmest of Welcomes to Megan Smith, our new Activities Director! 💛

Megan was drawn to Custer Care by the family feeling between our staff and residents and the flexibility that makes it feel like home. Her favorite part of each day is seeing our residents’ smiles and bringing joy through activities that make life here special.

She already has lots of fun things planned for the months ahead, including Thirsty Thursday, Deer Hunting, Bowling, and so much more laughter and creativity to come!

Originally from Kearney, Megan has lived in Broken Bow before and recently moved back. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, daughter, and their dogs! Whether they’re fishing or heading out on a spontaneous trip together their activities outside of Custer Care are just as fun as the ones she plans for!

We’re so excited to have her sharing her warmth, energy, and love for life with all of us at Custer Care! Please join us in giving her a true Broken Bow, “Hello!” 🩷

🎃 This week at Quality Senior Villages, our residents are diving into all things pumpkin! From exploring what’s inside to roasting their own seeds, reading fall favorites, and baking delicious pumpkin pies, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season. Add in a few autumn tunes and good company, and it’s shaping up to be a cozy, joy-filled week! 🧡🍂

Our week of apple fun came to a delicious end with apple pies made by the Dining room
divas and apple tasting! 🍎 After baking up some picture perfect apple pies, they turned into true apple connoisseurs, sampling nine different kinds of apples from our local Broken Bow - Grocery Kart. From tart to sweet, the samples them all and everyone found a favorite!🥧✨
