As women, we are led to believe that our health will go to pot after menopause.
Do you really believe that your body was designed to fall apart and break down just because you are no longer in your reproductive years?
I do not!
The levels of hormones needed in menopause are simply different because, at this point in our lives, we are only reproducing ourselves (our hair, skin, nails, and other cells), not ready to create a baby.
So our ovaries go into a well-earned retirement, and our adrenals take over.
You should feel good and stay healthy in this stage of life.
As a matter of fact, it should arguably be some of the best years of your life, as you are now established in your values and your lifeβs direction, you are wiser than you have ever been, and it's a good time to really take a breath and enjoy life!
Then why do so many feel like their bodies arenβt keeping up?
We live in a world that puts tremendous stress on us (and therefore on our adrenals). We are bombarded by toxins, our food choices donβt offer the same nutrition they once did, and many foods are ultraprocessed, actually depleting us rather than nourishing us.
This leads to our bodies becoming out of balance, and unfortunately, it is unlikely (until now) that anyone has taken the time to help you clean up the terrain.
How do we overcome this?
At Journey Chiropractic, we get a clear understanding of your life, your symptoms, and your health goals, and we use that information to direct what we can do to relieve some stress on your body with whole-food nutrition, chiropractic, and lifestyle choices.
As your body is relieved of so much overwhelming stress, it can thrive again!
(The earlier we get to it, the better, so donβt forget about your daughters because a healthy cycle in younger years leads to an easier transition and better health in later years.)
If this resonates with you, we are here to help you work to meet your health goals!
