Currently seeking a LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) for lots of Nursing Home assignments in the Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington counties. The ideal candidate must have worked 12 months in a nursing home or assisted living within the past 3 years.

Requirements of the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
* Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Nursing degree from an accredited Nursing program
* Current, valid and unrestricted LPN license
* Must have worked 12 months in a nursing home or assisted living within the past 3 years
* Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to stay focused, professional and calm under pressure
* Valid CPR card and current TB skin test
* Pass a drug screen and background check
Responsibilities of the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
* Help patients with personal hygiene and care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, and bowel and bladder care
* Take and record patient vital signs and weight
* Observe and record patients conditions, food and liquid intake and other behavior, and report changes to supervisor
* Help patients walk with canes, walkers, or other devices
* Make beds, and maintain clean and safe environments for patients
* Lift, transport, and move patients using the appropriate techniques
* Treat all patients, family, and other visitors with respect, and engage with them in a tactful manner at all times
* Comply with all safety and health regulations
