Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a very special guest—Jim Klisch, co-founder of Lakefront Brewery—as part of our new program series, “Let’s Know Our Neighborhood.” 🍻

Our residents truly enjoyed learning about the rich history behind one of Milwaukee’s most beloved breweries, and the experience was made even more memorable with a few delightful samples!

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with storytelling, local pride, and great company. Stay tuned for more exciting neighborhood connections!

Spring is in the air at Congregational Home! 🌸☀️ Our residents have been soaking up the sunshine, enjoying the fresh breeze, and spending time outdoors. From engaging activities outside to painting beautiful spring flowers, each moment has been filled with creativity, laughter, and joy.

Happy Easter! 🌷🐣

We had a wonderful and busy week at Congregational Home filled with joy, reflection, and celebration. From creative crafts and colorful egg decorating to meaningful Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services, there was something special for everyone.

Our residents also enjoyed a fun egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny, bringing plenty of smiles and laughter! 🐰💐

Today, we wrapped up the week with a beautiful Easter Service led by our chaplain Maureen—such a heartfelt way to celebrate the season together.

Let’s all wish Ed a very Happy 106th Birthday!! 🎉

We celebrated this incredible milestone with music, cake, smiles, and even a little dancing. Ed’s joy and spirit truly lit up the room!

A proud survivor and veteran of Pearl Harbor, Ed’s life is a remarkable story of strength, resilience, and history. We were deeply honored to present him with two special proclamations—one from the President of the United States and another from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

Thank you, Ed, for your service and for inspiring us all. 💙

The other day, we were honored to welcome a special visit from our city’s mayor, Mayor Ponto.

We always truly enjoy his time with us—connecting with our residents, sharing stories, and helping us learn more about our wonderful community. Moments like these mean so much and bring everyone together in a meaningful way.
