Can a pinched nerve in your neck heal? 🤔
In many cases… yes.

If it’s caused by a bulging disc, your body can actually reabsorb and shrink the disc over time—helping reduce pain, numbness, and tingling.

Even with age-related changes like spinal stenosis, symptoms can still improve without surgery.

The key? Creating the right environment for your body to heal—while avoiding “pain makers” and using techniques like nerve flossing.

Your body is more capable than you think.

Why I became a massage therapist.

We lived on a small farm, my kids were all little still (4,7 and 9) and I was in the process of getting a divorce. After one incredibly long hard day of work outside, I was putting my youngest to bed. As I lay there waiting for him to fall asleep, I realized that every muscle in my body ached and I needed some kind of therapy. At that time I didn't even know there was such a thing as a therapeutic massage and I was not interested in going to a spa. So the next day I started researching massage on the internet and I found the website for OCM, the school I ended up attending. After an interview, tour of the school and a review of their incredible program, I signed up and never looked back! It has been one of the greatest decisions of my life and I still love it! I have the pleasure and opportunity to help others recover and renew. I never did end up getting that first massage, but I have had the pleasure of meeting many great massage therapists since.
