Friday was a busy day! After all of the Bell Game fun, we had Halloween BINGO for morning activity and movie and popcorn in the afternoon! 🍿

💙 Friday before the Bell Game, we had special visitors from Brookfield High School-MO. Thank you to the cheerleaders and football players that took the time to come see us and help us to cheer on those Bulldogs! 🏈 Congratulations on keeping that BELL!

🎵 Music therapy is an important part of life here at Life Care Center of Brookfield as music has many benefits for people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or other dementias. Music improves mood, decreases agitation, and helps with communication and cognitive function. 🧠Music also helps to connect people and strengthen social bonds.

We have found that music can trigger memories, and some of our residents remember all of the words to particular songs. 😄 The joy on their faces shows how much they love our music therapy activity!
