Northern Fairfield County families,
We are so excited to announce that The Space by SOW will be opening in Brookfield, CT... very soon.
We have spent years working together (almost a decade) to create spaces that all children, parents, families feel welcome. And while this dream started in a classroom, it has grown into so much more.
For those who already know us, we met in 2017. We spent hours working together in an early childhood classroom, building curriculum (that actually works), while allowing kids to be kids... and then graduated with our Master's degrees (in Developmental Psychology & Education). We decided to take on jobs in the elementary & the intervention field, only to find so, so many holes.
At the tail end of 2022, we opened Sensory on Wheels... literally overnight. Although exhausted, we realized our dream was coming true. From then on, we never stopped advocating for the mess, the fun, the hidden learning experiences (while ensuring parents felt comfortable).
And thanks to our SOW supporters, The Space by SOW is almost ready.
