✨ A Celebration Of Life Food Drive ✨

We are hosting a local food drive in honor of our recently departed team member, Barb. We are celebrating her life by continuing to spread the good will and love she so readily shared with us. Those who knew Barb knew she was such a light in our office and we look forward to celebrating her spirit and legacy by paying forward the good she gave to us and to our patients.

We welcome any canned foods. All donations will go to our local food banks.

In honor of shark week 🦈

Sharks have tapetum lucidum, a reflective layer in their eye that gives them excellent night vision, allowing them to see through dark or murky water. This provides them surprisingly good vision especially in low light!

Optometrists are very important to our healthcare system because they specialize in the treatment of eye disease and vision disorders. Optometrists can prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses, monitor for and diagnose diabetic changes within the eye, work with their patients to treat diseases like glaucoma, and manage the progression of cataracts and macular degeneration. Optometrists play a vital role in managing a patient’s overall health by detecting and treating these eye conditions, which can ultimately improve the quality of life for their patients.
