COVID-19 Testing Now Available in BROOKHAVEN

It is very important that if you suspect you have been exposed to COVID-19, whether with or without symptoms, that you be tested. There is now a drive-thru testing site at the Peachtree Immediate Care in Brookhaven available for public testing of COVID -19.
- Open Every Day of the Week: Weekdays from 9:00am to 6:00pm and weekends from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- Capacity for 100 cars per day: No appointment or referral needed to be tested. To speed up your visit, you can pre-register online at peachtreemed.com/reg. For the safety of both the patient and the healthcare workers, all testing is done while the patient remains in their car.
- Results come back in 2-3 days: The test is a molecular test (“PCR”) with 99.6% accuracy, the highest accuracy on the market. It is able to detect the virus before symptoms start and 14-21 days after symptoms end.
The testing site is Peachtree Immediate Care, an Emory Healthcare Network Partner, at 4400 Peachtree Rd NE, Brookhaven, GA 30319, between City Hall and Oglethorpe University, with an entrance on Hermance Drive.
It cannot be stressed enough that you and your family can protect themselves and others against respiratory viruses by remaining diligent with the following precautions:
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.
• Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care.
