James Ronald Harrison, of Wesson, was born on September 18, 1951, and on March 12, 2026, 11:15 AM, he entered the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The family will receive visitors from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock on the evening of Monday, March 16, 2026 at the Beauregard Community Church, and again at the church on Tuesday morning from 10 o'clock until time of funeral services at 11 o'clock in the church sanctuary. Graveside services will follow in the Providence Cemetery (Jayess, MS).

Daddy, as he wanted to be called, lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to his family, and an unwavering faith in God. As an avid outdoorsman, his home’s hallway is clad with prize bucks and stories of big catfish and perch. He was a man of many talents and trades. Being a long-haul driver, he saw this country and all its beauty, sharing that with his daughter on some occasions. A skilled beautician, off shoreman, and restaurant owner, Ronnie had his hands in many things through the years. But nothing was more important to him than loving and providing for his family. 1 Timothy 5:8 says, “But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

Daddy always provided for his family and even those who may not have been blood he watched over them as his own.

PawPaw, to his grandkids, was a man of stability and love.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Dorothy Harrison; brother, Larry Harrison; and his beloved wife of 42 years, Judy Harrison.

He is survived by his brothers, Jimmy (Susan) and Bob (Tori); and sister-in-law, Judy; his daughter, Heather Harrison (Josh), Stacy Foote (Scooter), Misty Morrison (Scott), ; sons, Patrick McCaffery and Chris McCaffery (Karla), and a host of 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Flowers are welcomed by the family, or in lieu of plants, donations may be made to Beauregard Community Church Children’s Ministry (Daddy’s New Pride).
