What changes in Brainspotting Phase Two?

Phase Two builds on Phase One foundations and deepens clinical work with complex nervous system presentations. The focus shifts toward advanced resourcing, relational attunement, and working skillfully with clients outside the Window of Tolerance.

In Phase Two, therapists expand their capacity to work with:
• Complex PTSD and dissociation
• Subtle activation and vulnerability
• Limbic countertransference and regulation

This intermediate training introduces One-Eye Brainspotting, Z-Axis & Convergence Therapy, Rolling Brainspotting, and the next level of the Advanced Resource Model, supporting greater safety, depth, and integration in clinical practice.

Parts, Presence & Deep Echoes

At our recent Brainspotting & Parts Work training on December 14-15, we spent meaningful time exploring attunement, not only in the session itself, but in how we prepare before, stay present during, and integrate after the work.

Because when parts are in the room, so are the quiet echoes of our own histories.

Through a Neuroexperiential Brainspotting lens, we deepened awareness of:
• How therapist parts shape the therapeutic field
• Tracking limbic countertransference with steadiness
• Supporting preverbal and vulnerable systems
• Navigating frame shifts with clarity and care

This Monday reminded us that presence is not accidental; it’s cultivated.
