Heartfelt Congratulations to Rachel and Bradley on the birth of their daughter, Adelaide Rose.

After a transfer of care became appropriate, Adelaide was born at Sutter Coast Hospital with incredible collaboration from Dr. Kirk. We are so grateful to have such a kind and compassionate team at Sutter Coast Labor and Delivery for instances just like this!

Rachel navigated the changes to her anticipated Birth Plan with inspiring love and bravery. Once things got going with her delivery, Adelaide came really fast!

Rachel delivered her sweet baby into Bradley’s arms and the three of them have been inseparable ever since!

Adelaide weighed in at 6 # 7oz!

It has been our honor to be a part of this special time with them!

So many local organizations have joined the event as well to spoil new moms and share about services they have available to people in our community. It feels like it is giving us all a wonderful way to channel our supportive energy as one large group!

Congratulations to Rachel, Micah, and proud big brother C**t on the birth of sweet baby Brandy!

Brandy was born at home after a super fast delivery and weighed 7 # 7oz.

This was Rachel’s first homebirth and she says she loved the experience! She was incredibly strong and intuitive during her labor and was beautifully supported by her whole family.

It was an honor to get to know this family and be invited along on their pregnancy and birth journey. Big Brother C**t is such a sweetheart I know that in no time these two will be side by side on all kinds of adventures together!

Congratulations to Mesha and Kyle on the birth of their beautiful daughter, Arabella!

Mesha opted to transfer care when we started to wonder if Arabella might want to stay in her forever!

Mesha was so strong and victorious, delivering Arabella via VBAC with Dr Roth at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. We are so grateful for their amazing collaborative care and incredible support for Mesha’s autonomy at her birth.

Arabella weighed 9 # 5oz and was born after pushing for just 6 contractions!

Big sisters Austynn and Amirah are already in love!

This was such a special and important journey for this sweet family and we were honored to be a part of it.

Congratulations to Autinayea, Blake, and big brother Yuu-mish on the birth of their sweet new baby girl, Shruu-ťi.

Shruu-ťi weighed 6 # 14oz.

Autinayea was so strong and intuitive through her entire pregnancy, labor, and successful VBAC, which followed a very efficient labor!

It was an honor to help them navigate the joys and challenges that can come with pregnancy.

What a victorious outcome and a snuggly reward!

It’s about time I share some updates with you all. After a lot of thoughtful consideration, I’ve decided to pursue a more specialized direction for Madrona Holistics, with a primary focus on serving families. While this work has always been my muse, fully saying yes to supporting the mother–baby dyad through comprehensive mind, body, and spirit care will best allow me to serve this demographic in a way that lights me up and make the most impact.

I’ll be weaving together my passions for bodywork, continuing education, nourishing traditions, and community care to support families in Del Norte and Curry Counties—not only as a bodyworker, but also as a lactation counselor and postpartum doula.

This shift feels so creative and free. Even with all the extra work I’ve been putting in behind the scenes.
