Yesterday, our community gathered for a beautiful Family Thanksgiving Meal, and our hearts are still overflowing with gratitude. Seeing residents, families, and friends come together to share laughter, stories, and a delicious holiday meal made the day truly special.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the celebration so meaningful. Your presence brings warmth to our halls and joy to our residents.

And a very special shout-out to our incredible Dining Services Director, Kim, who prepared this entire Thanksgiving feast from scratch with so much care and love. 🧡 Her hard work and talent made the day unforgettable!

Also, a thank you to all staff that helped make this day special. Without you we wouldn’t have been able to host this beautiful meal. 💪

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful students who volunteered their time with our Memory Care residents today! You filled our home with laughter, conversation, and so much joy.

Together we enjoyed watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, worked on puzzles, colored beautiful pictures, and shared warm cups of coffee and hot chocolate — the perfect combination for a cozy afternoon. ☕🧩🖍️💜

❤️ A Heartfelt Surprise at Edgewood ❤️

Today our community was touched by the sweetest act of kindness thanks to our resident, Donna, and her wonderful grandchildren. They handmade beautiful clay hearts, lovingly painted each one, and attached thoughtful encouraging notes.

This afternoon, Donna’s grandkids proudly went room to room, gifting these heartfelt creations to every resident — spreading joy, warmth, and big smiles throughout Edgewood.

Acts of love like this remind us just how special family connections truly are. Thank you to Donna and her generous grandchildren for filling our day with so much kindness. ❤️

Today we caught the most precious sight — our residents spending time with one little visitor who brightened the whole room. From helping with toys to sharing smiles and gentle conversation, the connection between them was absolutely heart-melting.

Our Wellness Enrichment Coordinator Amanda and our Memory Care residents had an absolute blast today playing balloon volleyball! Laughter filled the room as everyone reached, tapped, and cheered each other on. This simple game always brings out big smiles, gentle movement, and wonderful moments of connection.

Our residents enjoyed a fun afternoon out on a shopping trip, guided by our wonderful Wellness Coordinator, Amanda! Everyone loved picking out a few goodies and enjoying the fresh change of scenery.

And to make the day even sweeter, Ardis surprised the whole group with delicious Zestos ice cream! 🍨💛 The smiles said it all!

Today we were treated to the beautiful sounds of Delores Intermill, who has been sharing her incredible piano-accordion talent with us every single month for years. 💛

There’s something truly special about the moments that unfold around a shared meal. Today at lunchtime, our Wellness Coordinator had the joy of sitting with two lovely ladies who are discovering a sweet new friendship.

Over warm food and even warmer conversation, they bonded over their shared love of kitties and beautiful flowers — smiles, stories, and gentle laughter filling the table. 🌸🐾

These are the connections that make our Memory Care neighborhood feel like home… where friendships bloom in the simplest, sweetest ways. 💚🏡
