❤️🍿Valentine’s Bingo was a full house today! We filled the room with excitement to win great Pink n’ Red themed prizes! The smiles were the real jackpot. We even enjoyed popcorn and pop while we played — because every good bingo party needs a little snack break! 🍿🥤By the end of the afternoon, everyone walked away a winner and that’s exactly how we like it around here at Edgewood!💕💪

Plus, the Brookings High School - Bobcat Student Council joined us for Valentine’s Day afternoon crafts! Watching generations come together, creating, laughing, and sharing stories is truly something special. We are beyond blessed when students visit us!

Okay but tell me why today felt like a Hallmark movie in real life!🥹❤️ We had the sweetest time decorating Valentine’s Day cookies and enjoyed 🚗 scenic rides through around Brookings and SDSU 💛💙soaking in the views before ending our adventure with the most fun car wash finale! We were so excited to welcome 🤗 our newest resident, Yvonne, to the family today! And to top it all off, we celebrated Gail’s birthday with cupcakes, more cupcakes, and bubbles — because you’re never too old for a little sparkle and sweetness! 💕🧁 ✨Days like this are pure heartwarming joy!🫶

💪 🏋🏻‍♂️ Our Assisted Living residents are absolutely crushing our Scissor Kicking Challenge at the end of daily morning exercises by keeping their hands and feet in the air working their way up to an impressive 35 seconds in 4 weeks! Our goal is to last 1 minute by summer! It’s amazing to see their confidence and stamina grow each morning!

🎨 👨🏻‍🎨Over in Memory Care, Canvas Painting brought calmness and creativity to our residents and staff! We definitely have some Da Vinci’s and Picasso’s in the house! 😁

But after all that traveling, he’s returned to a community that finally feels like home.
