A little yoga today with my amazing a.m. Clients.

It starts slow and stretchy, talking and moving slowly through how our shoulders should FEEL, how our feet and core should be engaged, breath…then we move and shake and sweat 🙂 great job Jill! Love how my clients will try it all.

Today I visited UM Laurel Medical Center, which is the location of one of 10 hospital-based testing sites across the state that are on track to be fully operational by the end of next week. All of these sites will be open for walk-ups or drive-thrus seven days a week with no appointment necessary.

In partnership with the state, the federal government will also provide support for a surge testing site at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.

One of the primary goals of these locations is to ease the burden on the hospitals and emergency rooms, and we are already getting reports that their emergency room traffic for testing has dropped dramatically as a result.

In addition, we are in the process of distributing 1 million at-home rapid tests through local health departments, and we are on track to get another 500,000 rapid tests in the next week.

Happy New year! I am so thankful for each and every one of my valued clients! What a blessing it’s been to be able to continue our training in our garage studio during a global health crisis. (Another big thank you to the hubby Camille for making it happen)
Some of us have gained a few pounds, some have lost, some have gained strength, some have lost, …but what we’ve all done is stayed committed to showing up weekly and moving and emotionally connecting and we SURVIVED! Kept our heads up. Appreciated one another. Did our part and got our vaccines and boosters. We’ve learned new ways to stay active, using different equipment at home and learning how to use ZOOM! We’ve done 75 online Monday zoom classes! 75 weeks! I’m so proud of my clients. I’m proud of myself. I’m ready to enter into 2022 with a renewed energy and some new ideas for and myself. It’s not all about the scale or physical strength. It’s about feeling good and having a happy heart. I could use a little of this now too so join me in committing to a new year full of movement, meditation, good nutrition, self love and writing something down each week that is GOOD! Much love.
Your humble, Personal Trainer

Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do.
Not a punishment for what you ate

Good morning! Pause.
Take a few deep breaths before entering your day.
Say the word “Gratitude” or a similar word that sets your intention for your day such as Calm. Focused. Appreciative. Energized….
Choose healthy foods. Be active. Take care if you so you can be your best for others.

MAKE IT a Great day!

I’ve made some adjustments to safely train clients during COVID. I’ve converted my garage into a gym. We have space and fresh air...and an air conditioner and heater:) and I’ve learned to use Zoom for online training.

Join me on Mondays from 12 to 1 on zoom for a live training workout! I give options and make adjustments keeping an eye on your form.
All you need is a couple bands, leg loop and a core ball (I have a few extra you can buy from me). I give options to use dumbbells if you have them. $15 per class.
Or join my Thursday 4:30pm
in-person small group limited to 5 people for social distancing. Message me for more details on this or individual training.
