The sweetest. 🥰

Two cousins were brought into the Fragrance Lab to celebrate their birthdays by making their own perfume and cologne.

They took their time and created fragrances that were so perfect for their personalities.

And their reaction when they finished bottling them… absolutely priceless!

Shoutout to the aunties for bringing them in and making such a special birthday memory for them.

What a beautiful day at CandleLux today.

It wasn’t a super busy day, but my last class made it SPECIAL. Two friends came in for a perfume-making experience. They’ve been friends since high school!!! I’ve always admired friendships that last that long. Being best friends all the way into adulthood is wild to me... in a good way. There’s truly something beautiful about a connection that grows with you through life.

They had so much fun creating their fragrances and ended up blending the most amazing scents.

They said they’re coming back and bringing more friends and perhaps family next time. I can't wait to welcome them all!!!

When Lance started CandleLux, I was in the middle of a serious health crisis. Gravely ill. Some of you may remember.

It took me a full year to recover. And the day I asked him to “teach me the ropes,” everything shifted.

From transforming our salon into a candle-making workshop…
to mobile setups…
to pop-ups…
to a temporary 8-month space that refined us (a blessing in disguise)…
to Newbury Street.

And today… CandleLux was featured on Meet Boston on NESN.

(Look, Ma. We’re on regional TV.)

Nothing about this was overnight.
Every step was earned.
Every season shaped us.

Grateful for the journey.
Grateful for the growth.
