Great news! Saint Therese has been honored by The Mather Institute as a 2025 Promising Practices Award Honorable Mention — and our Oxbow Lake community in Brooklyn Park was one of the original pilot sites for the OARS Program that earned this recognition.

Our OARS specialist here at Oxbow Lake, Trace Kluck, has played a pivotal role in welcoming and supporting new team members, leading to measurable improvements in retention and team connection.

A big thank-you to our Oxbow Lake team for helping lead the way in this innovative approach to onboarding and support. We couldn’t be prouder! 💛

With more than 60 vendors and nearly 300 older adult attendees, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community. We even ran into family members of Saint Therese residents and a few old neighbors. A truly rewarding experience.

This Veterans Day, we honor Navy veteran John Thuente, a resident of Saint Therese of Woodbury. His story is one of quiet courage — from the skies over Vietnam to a life of faith, family, and service.

This Veterans Day, we also honor all who have served — men and women whose courage, compassion and respect remind us daily what it means to live our Saint Therese values.
