Our amazing nursing team had a great time participating in today’s Skills Fair! It’s always wonderful to see our staff come together for continued competency training, especially when reviewing delegated tasks that are unique to our building and the care we provide to our residents.

We had a great turnout and fantastic staff participation, and it truly showed the dedication our team has to providing the best care possible. 💜

At Urbana Place, we believe that learning, teamwork, and supporting one another helps keep the spark alive in the care we give every day. ⭐

Shelly Tennessen, Marketing Director at Urbana Place Senior Living, and Marcie, Marketing Director from Cedar Creek Senior Living had a wonderful time spending the day calling BINGO! with the amazing group there. 🎲💜

It’s always such a joy getting to know the wonderful people living in our community. Moments like these truly warm our hearts and remind us why we love what we do. Being able to connect, share laughs, and talk about the services and support available to seniors and their families is incredibly meaningful.

This February, we’re celebrating National Heart Month by getting out into the community and focusing on what matters most healthy hearts! 💜

Our Marketing Director, Shelly Tennessen, has been out and about connecting with local cardiovascular representatives, strengthening partnerships, and sharing resources to support heart health for the seniors and families we serve. 🏥🤝

Shelly was also able to connect with a couple of our residents currently in transitional care/the hospital and surprise them with a small gift 🌸💐 The smile on their faces says it all...this is why we do what we do. ❤️

While we wait for the sunshine to fully arrive, we decided to bring a little spring indoors! 🌸✨ Today our residents created the CUTEST flowers made out of cupcake holders — and let me tell you, they turned out absolutely adorable! 🧁🌺

When one of our residents transitions to the hospital or into transitional care, we do our very best to follow along dropping off a small gift, connecting with the social workers, and reminding them (and their families) that we’re thinking of them every step of the way. 🏥🎁

It’s all part of how we turn worry into comfort and make sure no one feels alone during a challenging time. 🤝✨
