Who's ready to hear about our AMAZING 5 DSP's of the month?! 🙌

Breaunt C. "Bree" has grown a lot since his start with Genesis. He is willing to learn new
techniques from individuals' parents and pass the knowledge on to coworkers. He's been an amazing asset to the Corcoran. We are so appreciative and happy that he is a part of our team!

Judy T. has been with Genesis for a few months and has made a great
addition to the Brainerd House. Judy is always there to help the individuals with their needs. She is always willing to assist with picking up open shifts when they become available and has been a great & creative team player with her coworkers and supervisors.

Cegie T. was chosen as DSP of the month as she displays the GGH core values every day that she clocks in for her shifts. Cegie engages and conversates and finds creative fun things to do with the individuals she serves. Cegie is a great role model at the Mounds View Site and we are proud to have her on our team.

Katie S. is one staff member that is always reliable! She always shows up on time, picks up extra shifts, and goes above and beyond with cleaning and providing care to the individuals. She exemplifies all the Genesis core values, but especially commitment and ownership. We are so lucky to have Katie on our team!

(Not Pictured) Tomiah R. comes to work with a positive attitude each scheduled shift. She checks in with each individual and has a small conversation about their day when she arrives for her shifts. We are so grateful to have Tomiah on the Sherwood team! We are excited to see what the future holds for Tomiah here at GHH!

Here at Genesis Group Homes, Inc, we offer residential care to developmentally and intellectually disabled individuals in stable and well-supervised residential homes located throughout the northwest metro of the Twin Cities. 📍

Our motivation in founding Genesis Group Homes, Inc. was that every person deserves a chance for a new beginning. Whether that new beginning entailed transitioning out of their parent's home or coming from a previous placement, we wanted this home to be a fresh start. 👏

We designed homes with the philosophy that we would not expect anyone to live in a home that we couldn't see ourselves living in or that parent(s)/ guardian(s) couldn't see themselves living in as well. Envisioning yourself to be comfortable and happy in a home is a priority. 🏠

We have a new addition to the Operational team at Genesis! Please welcome Kelley as our new Recruiting Coordinator! She is coming in with many years of experience and we can’t wait to see how she will grow and flourish with us here at Genesis!

Kelley has worked in the Health and Wellness industry for 7 years. She loves building relationships with others and is always finding opportunities to learn new things. Her favorite T.V. show is Parks and Recreation and her favorite food is Thai. So far, the best Thai food she has had was in Khao Sok National Park when she visited Thailand in 2017. Some of her favorite things to do are hiking, swing dancing and reading. Welcome aboard!
