UDS is an accredited mobile diagnostic testing company, and all of our healthcare practitioners are board-certified. We are established experts in delivering healthcare to a wide spectrum of public safety agencies. Whether you have 25 or 2500 personnel UDS can customize our services to provide screenings that have been proven to save lives by early detection. UDS averages 90,000 patient interactions annually and we are experienced in coordinating large healthcare screening events. UDS screenings are dedicated to the early detection of cancer and cardiovascular diseases that when caught early can be resolved with medical follow up and proactive measures. In fact, this past year UDS has screened several thousand fire fighters across the nation with incredible results (see our aggregate date here). We are proud of the positive feedback we have received as quite a few firefighters were grateful for the early screening that they credit for saving these “lifesavers” lives. These tests include an Echocardiogram, Carotid, Abdominal Aorta, Thyroid, Liver, Spleen, Bladder, Kidney, and Testicular. The screenings can also consist of an Exterior Pelvic scan for females. In honor of 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, we’re sharing a special throwback to 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻's incredible journey. James, a 20-year veteran firefighter and father of three, went in for a routine UDS screening with Local 1452. That decision led to the early detection of a rare tumor that he would never have found on his own.

Because it was found early, James got his second chance. He has seen the devastating impact of cancer in the fire service throughout his career, and now he is living proof that early screening changes the narrative.

We at United Diagnostic Services (UDS) are proud to support the health and safety of our firefighters. Last week, we provided free cancer screenings for Massachusetts firefighters at the Bridgewater campus, helping ensure early detection and preventive care for those who dedicate their lives to protecting our communities.

Due to the high demand, the screenings were extended to a fourth full day, allowing even more firefighters to take advantage of this important service. We remain committed to working alongside our partners to promote cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection within the fire service.

Great first day at the Western Fire Chiefs Association IGNITE Symposium 2026.

It was an incredibly productive day reconnecting with many of our existing partners, meeting new departments, and continuing conversations about proactive health strategies for first responders. We also had the opportunity to provide complimentary screenings and spend time speaking directly with chiefs and leadership about the importance of early detection for firefighters.

Departments across the country are increasingly recognizing that the quality of screening matters. UDS remains the only fully accredited provider delivering comprehensive screening programs with professional interpretation by board-certified physicians and telemedicine consultations to guide members through any findings.

Fire departments are making a conscious decision to move toward higher quality diagnostics and better preventive care for their members, and it’s encouraging to see the momentum building across the industry.

A big shout out to our newest outreach team member 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮 and to our outstanding ultrasound technologist Maria for doing a fantastic job representing UDS and engaging with departments throughout the day.

5 Days of Prevention in Prince William County! 🚔💙

A big thank you to the Prince William County Police Department for a fantastic week on-site! We spent the last five days delivering high-level health screenings to the dedicated officers serving this community.

From heart health to early cancer detection, we are proud to provide the tools that help our first responders stay healthy and stay in the fight.

Proud to partner with the 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to deploy advanced preventive screening services across the state.

Together, we delivered gold-standard cardiovascular diagnostics directly on site — including full-body ultrasound and advanced blood biomarkers such as ApoB, Lipoprotein(a), and Lp-PLA2.

By mobilizing these services across multiple regions simultaneously, we eliminated barriers to access and ensured Michigan’s state troopers received proactive, high-level screening where they serve.

This is what modern prevention looks like — coordinated, standardized, and mission-driven.

We’re not just screening. We’re strengthening long-term health outcomes for those who protect our communities.

That’s a wrap on ! 🚔💙

From March 6-8, the UDS Health team was on the ground at the 𝗜𝗔𝗖𝗣 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 & 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. It was an inspiring three days filled with 70 sessions dedicated to the health, safety, and resilience of our law enforcement officers.

It was great to see so many familiar faces and meet new partners! Our CEO, 𝗥𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻, and Client Outreach Manager, 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻 enjoyed discussing how early detection and advanced diagnostics are changing the game for officer longevity.
