I love my patients and their feedback is so important to me!

I’ve been lucky enough to practice with so many kind, wonderful individuals to help them reach their goals, nourish themselves, and live life to the fullest.

Deeply touched by this more recent feedback I received on Google and Zocdoc!

If you live in NY/NJ, I’d love to work with you! Check me out through the link in my bio!

A lot of people struggle with shame/guilt when they eat out or have limited brain space to always cook at home. That’s OKAY!

Sometimes we just want a comfort meal or a night out at a restaurant with friends, but we don’t need to think of it as a “cheat day” or falling off our nutrition plan. Eating out CAN work for your overall goals too. Here’s what I recommend to do it.

Let’s be real: It’s hard to get enough protein no matter what your diet is.

Protein matched with fiber can help keep steady blood sugar throughout the day (and help you feel full and satisfied). But when the time comes, it’s not always convenient.

Here are some good sources of protein to remember to add to your grocery list so you can easily reach for them when you’re hungry.

Having a low energy day and can’t even think about eating?

That’s OKAY! I call that our “I can’t even…” days, and it’s perfectly acceptable to admit you just don’t have the energy for cooking or meal prep. But you should still nourish yourself.

So, how do you do that?

Here are some of my best go-tos for a satisfying, nourishing snack to help you replenish your energy without draining it first.

Forget about perfection when it comes to your diet. Having proper nutrition is not one size fits all, and setting up an eating environment is a great way to set yourself up for success.

“Eating environments” can refer to how we set up our meals as well as how we meal prep, which usually means a bit of forward-thinking and organization.

You don’t need to do a big, elaborate ritual, but you can consistently create a personal method that helps cut back on any decision fatigue you might have when choosing your meals and support your nutrition choices.

Here’s how you do it.

NEW BLOG! Nutrition is not only about what you eat but how you plan your meals.

It would be great if we could just wave a magic wand and — P**F — the perfect meal appears and is ready to eat! In a way, you can do this yourself but it will require a little forward thinking and meal prep.

If that sounds daunting, don’t worry. You can easily use a simple formula that you can customize as you go. Here’s what I suggest for creating an “eating environment” that sets you up for nutrition success and less decision fatigue!

Everywhere we go, we’re told to get more protein! But it’s not as easy as it looks for those of us with busy lifestyles. If you’re like me, you want to have a working list of staples to buy so you’re well stocked and ready to meal plan. This way, you get what you need without having to think about it all the time.

Here are some great sources of protein (including some plant-based ones)!

It’s on everyone’s minds these days: FIBER.

So many patients don’t get enough fiber! It makes sense considering how surprisingly difficult it can be to work these foods in your diet when you’re busy, stressed, and low on energy.

The typical recommendation is 25 to 35 grams per day and you can do that by simply adding some fiber-rich foods to every meal.

Here’s what I suggest.
