Just like the seasons shift, our space keeps evolving too 🍂✨

If you’ve visited Greenpoint recently, you may have noticed a few changes… the exciting news? The entire floor is now home to Yoga Space!

That means new floorboards in the hallway, gentle updates to the studio you love, and very soon - a second studio to welcome even more moments of stillness, breath, and community.

A space twice as big, for twice the magic. What do you hope for in our studio refresh? 💛

Happy Autumnal Equinox, dear community 💛

Today marks the first day of fall — and we’re throwing it back to our team retreat in the Poconos last year. Fall is a season that calls us inward and invites us to let go and rest, much like the trees releasing their leaves and nature turning toward hibernation.

The practice of Aparigraha (non-possessiveness) from the Yoga Sutras feels especially resonant now, reminding us to release attachments to things, ideas, and experiences, and to embrace change with ease.

On the mat, this may look like letting go of the need to achieve specific poses or force outcomes. Off the mat, it may mean releasing old habits, heavy emotions, or past versions of ourselves that no longer serve us — and trusting the natural flow of change.

If you’ve spent time at Yoga Space, you probably know Leah - a long-standing guiding light in this community and one of our most beloved teachers 🥰

For the past 5 years, she’s shared restorative stillness, flowing vinyasa, and immersive stretching with us. With a 500hr training and a BFA in Dance, Leah brings a unique blend of knowledge, balance, and creative movement to the mat. Her classes hold both strength and strength, challenge and rest - always leaving space for you to feel grounded yet free to explore.

Next month, Leah is setting off on a new adventure in Canada 🍁. Though she’ll be keeping close to the community in the background and will return to teach from time to time, we want to wish her well and thank her for her presence, her kindness, and the light she’s brought into this space.

Your daily energy on the mat will be missed dearly! 💛

Join her for her final classes this month before she goes, and wish her luck on her next adventure 🫶🏼💫

September arrives with softer light, cooler air, and a rhythm that pulls us inward.
 Where summer asked for fire, fall asks for grounding. Ayurveda calls this vata season — airy, mobile, inspiring, but sometimes scattering if too much. The remedy? Warmth, steadiness, and rituals that root us back into ourselves.

That’s why we love gathering in our Terra room in Greenwich Village — a space of sweat, strength, and rooted movement. A room to meet the season with balance: earth to hold you steady, fire to keep you warm, body to bring you home.
