💔 Feeling anxious about your baby’s weight gain? You’re not alone!

Understanding that newborns often lose weight in the first days can be a relief. It’s NORMAL! Your baby’s weight loss is just a part of their natural adjustment, not a reflection of your parenting.

What questions do you have about feeding and growth? Let’s talk about it in the comments!

You do not need to pump and dump every time you drink alcohol.

Milk alcohol levels mirror blood alcohol levels. They rise together. They fall together. Pumping does not remove alcohol faster. Your liver does.

If you are sober enough to safely care for your baby, your milk is safe to feed. This is pharmacokinetics. Not opinion.

Fear has done more harm than alcohol ever has in breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding parents deserve real science.

🧀✨ Happy National Cheese Lovers Day! ✨🧀

Calling all cheese-loving moms—yes, you can enjoy your favorite Brie, Gouda, or cheddar while breastfeeding! 🍼💛

But if your little one shows signs of a dairy sensitivity, you might want to keep an eye out for these symptoms:
🧷 Smelly or mucusy p**p
💚 Green stools
🤢 Excessive spit-up
🎈 Gassiness or fussiness
🚼 Diaper rash or baby acne

Not all babies are affected by dairy in mom’s diet, but if you’re noticing these signs, it might be worth a closer look. 💡 A quick consult with an IBCLC can help guide you through figuring it out!

In the meantime, go ahead and celebrate your love of cheese responsibly. 🧀😉
