IPL treatment is typically performed as a series of four sessions, spaced about 2-4 weeks apart. After each session, we perform gland expression to help restore proper oil flow and improve tear quality.

The need for maintenance treatments depends on the severity of your symptoms, but ongoing care can help preserve gland function and prevent progression.
