Behind every step forward in recovery, there’s someone who listens, understands, and guides with care. 💙

This Counseling Awareness Month, we recognize the counselors who create safe spaces for healing — where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.

At ACI, counseling is more than conversation. It’s connection. It’s trust. It’s the foundation that helps turn challenges into progress and setbacks into strength.

To our counselors: thank you for the patience, compassion, and dedication you bring to every session. Your work changes lives in ways that words often can’t fully capture.

Join us in recognizing the counselors who make a difference every day. 💙

Our “Layers of Hope” Parfait Night was more than just a fun activity — it was a meaningful reflection of the recovery journey.

As clients built their parfaits layer by layer, it became a powerful reminder that healing doesn’t happen all at once. It takes time, patience, and consistent effort — one step, one choice, one layer at a time.

Moments like these create space for connection, self-expression, and growth — reinforcing that every step forward matters. 💙

This Alcohol Awareness Month, we’re going beyond awareness — we’re showing what recovery truly looks like. 💙

Recovery isn’t just about stopping alcohol use.
It’s about rebuilding. Reconnecting. Rediscovering.

At ACI, healing happens in many ways — through creativity, connection, reflection, and moments of joy. From painting and shared laughter to meaningful group activities, each experience helps our patients take steps forward in their journey.

Because recovery isn’t just about what you leave behind — it’s about what you build moving forward.

Recovery is possible. Share this to help shift the conversation.

Honoring Those Who Serve 🎤💙

We are proud to share that our Marketing Director, Stephanie Davis, produced and hosted the 24th Annual NJ State Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Mini Educational Convention — dedicating her time and leadership to an event focused on mental health, behavioral health, and su***de awareness.

It was both her honor and ours to support those who serve our communities every day. At ACI, we are deeply committed to standing alongside law enforcement and contributing to conversations that matter — especially when it comes to mental health and well-being.

We were also honored to have National President Patrick Yoes, Sr in attendance, making this meaningful event even more impactful.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible. 💙

Vision Journal Sessions 📓✨

Our Vision Journal Sessions continue to be a client favorite across programs — offering space for creativity, reflection, and personal expression.

During these sessions, clients personalize their journals with images, words, and reminders that reflect their unique recovery journeys. It’s more than an activity — it’s a moment to slow down, set intentions, and reconnect with goals.

These small, meaningful practices help build confidence, clarity, and a sense of direction — one page at a time. 💙

March is Social Worker Appreciation Month 💙

This month, we recognize and celebrate the heart, dedication, and compassion of social workers everywhere — especially those who are part of the ACI family.

Social workers are the quiet strength behind so many recovery journeys. They advocate, support, guide, and uplift — meeting individuals where they are and helping them move forward with dignity and hope.

At ACI, we see firsthand the impact our social workers make every single day. Through empathy, patience, and unwavering care, they help create safe spaces for healing, growth, and transformation.

To our social workers: thank you for the difference you make, the lives you touch, and the hope you bring. 💫

March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month

Gambling addiction is often called a “hidden” struggle — but its impact is very real. It can affect mental health, relationships, finances, and overall well-being.

At ACI, we believe awareness is the first step toward healing. Recognizing the signs, having open conversations, and seeking support can make a life-changing difference.

Recovery is possible. With the right support, guidance, and resources, individuals can regain control and rebuild their lives — one step at a time.

If you or someone you know is struggling, you are not alone. Help is here. 💙

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 💚

While today is known for luck, at ACI we celebrate something even more powerful — growth, resilience, and the courage to keep going.

Every day, we see that progress is built through support, strength, and showing up — and that’s something truly worth celebrating.

Here’s to the journey, the wins, and the hope ahead. 💚

Drop a 💚 to celebrate how far you’ve come.

Our inpatient clients participated in a meaningful hands-on activity — creating their own Affirmation Jars. Each person filled their jar with personal affirmations, reminders of strength, and words they can turn to during difficult moments in recovery.

These jars serve as a simple but powerful tool — something clients can revisit when facing self-doubt, emotional triggers, or challenging thoughts. Sometimes a small reminder of hope, worth, and resilience can make a meaningful difference in the moment.

During , activities like this help encourage self-compassion, healthy coping, and the reminder that difficult feelings don’t have to be faced alone. Healing often begins with small steps — and sometimes with words we choose to believe about ourselves.

Today, we celebrate the heart of ACI — our incredible team. 💙

National Employee Appreciation Day is more than a calendar date for us. It’s a reminder that healing happens because of the people who show up every single day with compassion, patience, and purpose.

To our nurses, counselors, administrators, support staff, and leadership — thank you for the dedication you bring to every patient interaction. Thank you for the long hours, the steady encouragement, and the quiet moments of care that often go unseen.

Because of you, recovery feels possible.
Because of you, hope feels real.
Because of you, ACI is more than a facility — it’s a community.

Help us celebrate our team by dropping a 💙 in the comments.

Women’s History Month – Honoring Strength & Resilience

This Women’s History Month, we honor the strength, resilience, and courage of women — past and present — who continue to shape our communities and inspire change. 💜

At ACI, we see every day how powerful women are.
Women who choose recovery.
Women who support their families.
Women who lead with compassion.
Women who rise after hardship and rewrite their stories.

History is not only written in textbooks — it’s written in moments of bravery, growth, and healing.

This month, we celebrate the women who paved the way, and the women who continue to choose hope, healing, and progress every single day.

Tag a woman who inspires you or share one word that represents the strength of women in your life.

Healing doesn’t always happen in words — sometimes it happens in color, in quiet moments, and in shared creativity. During our Paint & Chill session, patients had the opportunity to slow down, express themselves freely, and connect through art.

Creativity can be powerful medicine. It allows space to decompress, reflect, and rediscover joy in the process. Each brushstroke was a reminder that healing is personal, expressive, and yes — it can even be fun.

At ACI, we believe recovery includes moments of creativity, connection, and self-expression. 💙
