Today's Lunar New Year Celebration brought together 500+ local families, 50+ volunteers, and dozens of partner organizations and performers! 💫 RaisingHealth Partners was proud to host the free event with Cpc Brooklyn Community Services, NYCEDC MADE Bush Terminal, and Chinatown Records to celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse. 🔥🐴

Special thanks to our elected officials who supported the event: Brooklyn District Attorney's Office, Council Member Susan Zhuang (huge thank you for the citation!), Council Member Alexa Avilés, and Assemblymember Marcela Mitaynes. We greatly value your dedication to our community members. 🤝

Today RaisingHealth hosted a free preventative care event featuring a trilingual roundtable with Council Member Alexa Avilés, a lunch and learn about self-care, health screenings, and a distribution of healthy groceries. 💪🏽 🩺 🥬

HUGE thank you to Council Member Aviles for the insights, connections to essential services, and resources you shared during the roundtable, as well as the citation you provided RaisingHealth! We're ever grateful for your support of RaisingHealth and our community members 🫂

Thank you also to SOMOS Community Care for providing health screenings; United Way of New York City Connect 2 Care for providing materials and food for the lunch and learn; and NYCEDC for providing event space at MADE Bush Terminal.
