Seeing the need. Sharing the vision. 👓💛
When we decided it was time to make space in our back storage, we uncovered hundreds of beautiful frames — in perfect condition, but no longer part of our current collection. Rather than let them sit unused, we wanted them to serve their true purpose: helping people see clearly.
We reached out to the Brooklyn Crown Heights Lions Club Foundation, part of Lions Clubs International 's long-running Eyeglass Recycling Program, which has been providing eyewear to those in need for over 100 years. Their mission is simple yet powerful — make quality vision accessible to anyone, anywhere.
Working with club president Jennifer Parsons, and with the help of our newest team member, Shmuel Brackman, we packed up about 500 frames (including many children’s styles!) into five big boxes. Jennifer came by to pick them up, so they can soon find new life — giving someone the gift of clear sight, whether it’s a child learning in school, a parent at work, or an elder enjoying the details of daily life.
