He has appeared on Channel 7 Health News Report (2006) during some of his collaborative pioneering work on Enterra. His work on a rare and previously poorly described condition of an Acute Esophageal Necrosis now carries his name in describing the various stages of this disease. The conditions he treats include: proctalgia, GERD, Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal strictures, esophageal ulcers, esophageal candidiasis, re**al bleeding, IBS, gallbladder disease, jaundice, portal hypertension, ascites, primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), autoimmune hepatitis (AIH), drug-induced liver injury (DILI), hemochromatosis, Wilson’s Disease, Crohn’s Disease, Whipple’s disease, gastroenteritis, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, anorexia, and obesity.
