As the snow begins to thaw and we look toward spring, here are a few simple ways to help your body stay well through the final stretch of winter.

đź’™ Stay Warm
Layers matter. Keeping your joints and muscles warm helps support circulation and can reduce stiffness.

đź’™ Stay Active and Mobile
Movement encourages blood flow and helps prevent muscles and joints from tightening up. Even short indoor walks, stretching, or gentle yoga can make a noticeable difference.

đź’™ Stay Hydrated
Many people drink less water in the winter, but hydration plays an important role in muscle function, tendon pliability, and joint comfort. Keeping water nearby throughout the day can help support recovery and reduce cramping.

Source: Duke Health — When Winter Weather Hurts: Expert Explains Why Your Joints Feel the Cold. In the article, Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery Christopher Murawski, MD explains why aches can increase in cold weather, and why warmth, movement, and hydration are key to staying comfortable.

CBD oil massage isn’t a trend — it’s plant medicine.

At Red Moon Wellness, our therapists are trained to use high-quality, whole-plant CBD to support pain relief, inflammation, and deep nervous system regulation.

Curious how it works (and why quality matters)? Check out our full blog post + book your session!

During the national ICE Out shutdown, we made a deliberate choice at Red Moon Wellness: to remain open and donate 100% of the day’s profits to organizations doing frontline work in defense of immigrant communities.

Please visit our blog to understand the reasoning behind that choice, and the groups we were honored to support.

Where did the donations go?

We donated Friday’s profits to the following organizations, each of which is responding to this moment with care, strategy, and courage:

✨️ South Brooklyn Sanctuary – Providing free legal assistance for immigration court to individuals and families who would otherwise face the system alone.

✨️ Indivisible Brooklyn – A key local organizer responding to ICE activity by monitoring patrols, distributing whistles, sharing real-time information with local businesses, and raising funds for impacted families.

✨️ Tending the Soil – Collecting and distributing funds to directly support frontline organizers in Minnesota, ensuring that those doing the work of resistance and community care have tangible resources.

Thank you to everyone who trusted us with their care, supported our small business, and continues to engage thoughtfully and compassionately during this time.

If you’re able, we also encourage you to stay informed, support mutual aid efforts, and contact your elected representatives to demand an end to ICE funding.

Care is not neutral — and neither are we.

Please visit our blog to learn more.

What if bodywork and herbs weren’t just “self-care”… but real nervous system medicine?

At Perinatal Connection’s monthly meeting, we’ll explore how the nervous system shapes pregnancy, birth, and postpartum — and how it impacts us as providers, too.

✨ Autonomic regulation
✨ Vagal tone
✨ Oxytocin pathways
✨ Practical tools for resilience + recovery

Together we’ll discuss how hands-on care and herbal strategies can support nervous system regulation in meaningful, measurable ways — and how to integrate these approaches into both your practice and your personal care.

Come with questions, curiosity, and real-life experience.

Tomorrow, during the national ICE Out shutdown, Red Moon Wellness will remain open and donate 100% of Friday’s profits to mutual aid in Minneapolis and here in our local community. We also encourage cash payments if possible.

Our practice serves people who rely on consistent care—especially pregnant clients and those living with chronic pain. Canceling last-minute can mean real physical consequences, including flare-ups that sometimes lead to riskier medical interventions. For us, continuing to provide care is part of harm reduction.

We also know many people are carrying intense stress, fear, and grief right now. Bodywork is not a luxury for everyone—it’s a form of somatic support that helps regulate the nervous system during times of collective trauma.

As a business rooted in healing, we are firmly opposed to ICE and the violence of fascism. On Friday, we’re choosing to show up for our clients and materially support resistance through mutual aid.

If you’re able, we also encourage folks to call or email their representatives and demand an end to ICE funding. Collective pressure matters.

Thank you for supporting small businesses that are doing their best to act with care, integrity, and solidarity. 🌙

One of our most popular offerings is the 3-massage series. Many of our clients know they’ll be returning throughout the year, and a series provides an intentional way to commit to regular care while enjoying built-in savings.

Massage series may be applied to any massage style. Optional enhancements, such as CBD or castor packs, may be added at each visit. All series are valid for one year from the date of purchase. If you’re purchasing a series as a gift, our front desk is happy to assist with transferring it into the recipient’s name.

For the most up-to-date pricing, please visit our website. Here is a snapshot of a few current offerings.
