Anne-Elizabeth Straub, LCSW Anne-Elizabeth Straub, LCSW - Private Practice, Psychotherapy, Somatic Education, Wellness Promotion, Consultant,Public Speaker.

I help people to confront and deal with difficult issues and to change habits that impede their happiness and well-being. Are you dissatisfied with some aspect of your life; feel stuck, not moving forward? Are you coping with some new challenge in your life; a new job or responsibility, the loss of a job, the death or illness of someone in your life, a diagnosis or worsening of an illness of your own? If your work, your relationships or your zest for life are unsatisfactory in any way, it might be time to look at your situation and.get some help changing the patterns and habits that got you to where you are. My work is based on concern for the client as a whole person, within the particular environment, community family or friendship groups they are to be found. My goal is to provide non-judgmental “safe” space where clients can take the time to do their inner work, be heard , test old strategies, develop and experiment with new ones. Individual and group psychotherapy, using elements of cognitive behavioral training, or narrative therapy as well as other therapeutic frameworks might be employed as part of this process. Somatic learning, mindfulness education, information and referral and advocacy are also part of the “toolbox”. I am currently working in the virtual space, using secure tele-health platforms . I do not participate in the panels of any insurance companies because I want my time to be spent dealing with my clients and not the insurance company’s demands. Please contact me to discuss appointments and fee structure.
