Tonight we gather on the 1st new day of the year as neighbors, friends, and family to hold both memory and hope. We remember those who are no longer with us, we speak their names, and we honor the love that continues to bind our community together.
As the year continues, may we make space for one another - share a story at the table, call someone who might be alone, offer a quiet toast to the kindness we saw this year. To our leaders, teachers, volunteers, first responders, and all who lift others up when days are heavy - thank you for the light you bring.
From our family to yours, we wish you a gentle transition into the new year filled with health, understanding, and moments of simple grace. May we keep showing up for each other, one caring act at a time.
