Governor Hochul announced awards totaling $42.9 million to fund job training and placement efforts across New York State for individuals impacted by addiction, who are ready to join the workforce.

As temperatures drop, StartCare is sharing information on nearby warming spaces near our clinics in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Manhattan. These locations are open to anyone in need, with food available at centers and snacks on warming buses!

StartCare was proud to join the 7th Annual Legislative Breakfast & Town Hall in East Harlem this January, hosted by Senator Cordell Cleare, EHCHC, and HSCEH.

Community members, service providers, and elected leaders came together to talk about what matters most: access to healthcare, food security, and immigration support. Conversations like these help bring community voices to the table and turn shared priorities into action!
