This is the first retreat of the year and that matters.

Not because we’re rushing to start.
But because how we begin sets the rhythm for everything that follows.

The Sweet Life Winter Reset is a small, intimate retreat in the Pocono Mountains at the beautiful Swiftwater resort created for black women who are ready to start the year held, not hurried.

Four days.
Everything handled.
Space to soften back into yourself.

This experience is intentionally limited to 6–8 women so care can remain personal, unrushed, and real. From nourishing meals and grounding rituals to quiet luxury and meaningful conversation - this is about returning to your own pace.

Sweet Life Society members receive exclusive retreat credits as part of their membership benefits - because this community is designed to support you beyond the moment.

If you’re done beginning the year already tired, this may be your gentle yes.

March 19-22 - Details in the lonk in bio.

January is not asking you to reinvent yourself.

It’s asking you to arrive.

At Holistree, we don’t believe in rushing women into becoming.

We believe in beginning with care, rhythm, and devotion.

The Sweet Life is not a reward you earn at the end of exhaustion.

It is a remembering that you are worthy of softness, luxury, and ease now.

This year, we are not starting with pressure.
We are starting with presence.

If you’re craving a gentler way to begin, we’ve created a love offering for you an audio ritual to help you soften, arrive, and return to yourself.

As this year comes to a close, we’re pausing not to rush into what’s next, but to honor what has been.

2025 invited us to slow down.
To listen more closely.
To remember that wellness, luxury, and care are not destinations they are practices.

At Holistree, everything we create is an ode to Black Women.

A reminder that softness is not weakness.
That rest is not something to earn.
That community, ritual, and intention matter.

As we move toward 2026, our focus is not on doing more
it’s on being more rooted.
More reverent.
More intentional about how we gather, how we care, and how we honor the lives we’re living right now.

If this space has supported you in any way this year
if something here helped you breathe deeper, slow your pace, or feel less alone
we’re grateful you’re here.

Here’s to a new year shaped by care.
By rhythm.
By sweetness that doesn’t require permission.

We’ll meet you there.

12/23/2025

Twelve days of sweetness.
FIFTEEN offerings of truth, care, and remembrance.

What unfolded here was not content.
It was community.
It was ritual.
It was an ode to Black women choosing to live differently.

Each conversation invited us back to ourselves - to rest without guilt, to trust our knowing, to soften without apology, and to remember that sweetness is not something we earn.

It is something we practice.

For those who feel called to continue, the Sweet Life Society is where this rhythm lives on, through shared practice, deeper conversation, and collective care.

The Sweet Life is not a moment.
It is a way of being.

Day Twelve closed us with a truth that lingers.

So many of us have deep faith in God, in spirit, in our ancestors, in forces unseen.
And yet, we hesitate when it comes time to trust ourselves.

Sonja Marie reminded us that this is the real threshold.

Not belief but embodiment.
Not knowing but trusting what we already know.

The Sweet Life is not about reaching for something outside of you.
It is about standing firmly within yourself and choosing to move forward without self-abandonment.

This is where sweetness matures.
This is where trust becomes practice.
This is where the work continues.

12/21/2025

There comes a moment when faith asks for something deeper.

We trust God.
We trust our ancestors.
We trust the unseen.
But the real question is:
Do you trust yourself in this moment?

Sonja Marie named the quiet truth so many women are circling, that the work is not about holding on to something outside of us, but learning to stand firmly inside our own knowing.

This conversation felt like a benediction.
A reminder that sweetness matures when trust turns inward.

Day Twelve closed us not with answers - but with permission.
To trust yourself.
To choose yourself.
To walk forward without abandoning your spirit.

Day Eleven held us in something quieter - and more honest.

A reminder that so many Black women need to hear right now:
You are not defective.

Almetta named the shame that sneaks in when we’re overwhelmed, tired, or trying to hold too much together. And she offered something far more sustainable than self-improvement, compassion.

Not as an afterthought.
As a foundation.

Sweetness doesn’t begin when you finally “get it right.”
It begins when you stop treating yourself like a problem to solve.
This is the work.
And it is worthy.

12/21/2025

“You are not defective.”

That reminder from Day 11 alone can shift everything.
In this moment, Almetta named what so many of us are carrying quietly the shame that creeps in when we’re overwhelmed, tired, or struggling to make sense of our inner world.

Before fixing, before healing, before doing anything else, she invites us to release the lie that something is wrong with us.

You are not broken.
You are responding to what you’ve lived.
And gentleness is part of the work.

This is the kind of truth that creates room to breathe, soften, and begin again without self-blame.

Day 10 of the 12 Days of Sweetness offered us a moment to slow down and listen closely.

In a tender conversation between Ifetayo White and her daughter Jamila White, we were reminded that a Sweet Life begins with nourishment - with choosing environments, rhythms, and ways of living that allow us to thrive.

This wasn’t just a lesson.

It was a living example of how values are passed, how courage is modeled, and how sweetness is often inherited through care.

As we near the end of this journey, this conversation felt like a grounding a reminder to ask ourselves:
What environments am I choosing for the life I’m building?

Thank you for holding this moment with us.

12/19/2025

“If your environment doesn’t nourish you, it will slowly drain you.”

In this sweet and deeply endearing moment from Day 10 of the 12 Days of Sweetness, Ifetayo White shares her definition of a Sweet Life one that begins with being rooted in spaces that truly nourish you.

Listening to this conversation between Jamila White and her mother felt like witnessing lineage in motion.

Jamila reflected on how her mother’s choices, values, and way of living became the quiet blueprint that supported some of her own biggest decisions including the courage to move across the world.

It was the perfect conversation to be held on that day. A pause. A honoring. A reminder that so much of who we become is shaped by who loved and guided us first.

Jamila served as our guest host with so much grace, and this exchange felt like a gift - shared at exactly the right time.

We have two more days left of the 12 Days of Sweetness, and the energy is still unfolding.
There is more reflection, more joy, and more sweetness ahead as we close this journey together.

Meet Ifetayo White - community elder, teacher, and one of our cherished Luxury Life Curators for the 12 Days of Sweetness.

Ifetayo carries wisdom earned through living, loving, creating, and caring across generations. Her presence reminds us that healing doesn’t always arrive as instruction - sometimes it comes through memory, touch, and the quiet stories held in our hands.

On Day 10, Ifetayo joins us with her Sweet Lesson, “With These Hands,” an invitation to slow down and reflect on the ways our hands - and the hands of our grandmothers - have shared, held, built, and blessed our lives.

This offering is a gentle honoring of lineage, labor, and love - and a reminder that our hands carry more than work. They carry memory.

Join us for Day 10 of the 12 Days of Sweetness and experience Ifetayo’s wisdom inside the Circle, alongside her full Sweet Lesson and reflections.
