This weekend we celebrated Josh who received his dog tags yesterday signifying his completion of the first phase(4 mos.) of our New Start Program completion 120 days of sobriety, curriculum and working through the 12 steps with a sponsor! Josh is actively pursuing his relationship with Jesus and is making great strides!!!!!

We had a fun outing tonight to go support our Awakening Coffee Shop manager and New Start Program Resident Advisor, Jacob, win double gold at Jiu Jitsu World League. Several of us train regularly at Liberatus Jiu Jitsu in Fulshear and we have found that Jiu Jitsu is a great addition to our recovery program and Jacob demonstrated that to day with his dominant performance! What a great day!

Celebrating our brother Garrett’s graduation yesterday from our New Start Program was amazing! We are thankful to God for what He has done in Garrett’s life! His family flew in from out of town to join in the celebration! Please pray for Garrett has he has decided to continue working here in Brookshire and will move into our graduate housing nearby land continue being a light to our community!
