Spectra staff's quarterly outing was a fun-filled day! Thank you to Nurf Terf for hosting us!

Broomfield was buzzing last week as the incredible staff of Spectra Centers swapped teaching tools for Nerf blasters in a team-building rumble for the ages!
On the Blue side, the gritty Bandidos saddled up. On the Yellow side, the mysteriously named Kevinators took the field. And let me tell you—when I first heard that name, I thought it was some sort of sci-fi villain squad. Nope! Turns out, it was all about one guy named Kevin on the blue team. Their whole strategy? Take down Kevin. Folks, it took me three explanations before I finally understood—and at my short stature, plenty of things fly over my head, but this inside joke had wings!
Now, let’s break it down:
Team Elimination: Kevinators 3 – Bandidos 1
Capture the Flag: Kevinators 15 – Bandidos 7
Protect the President: Kevinators 3 – Bandidos 0
Bucket Challenge: Bandidos 25 – Kevinators 19
The Kevinators came out blazing, storming through the first three challenges with laser focus and plenty of Kevin-chasing chaos. But just when it looked like the sweep was on, the Bandidos said “¡No más!” and unloaded in the Bucket Challenge, slinging darts into buckets like true outlaws to claim the final showdown.
When the foam settled, it wasn’t just about wins and losses. It was about laughter, strategy, and celebrating the amazing work Spectra Centers does every single day for kids with autism and disabilities. These folks are heroes on and off the field—and last week, they proved they’re also a blast to battle with.
