DAY 29:

“I AM HEALED!”

Once you have chosen to follow Jesus, believed in His life, death, and resurrection, you are buried with Christ and then Alive again. The part that some of us missed including me was that I stayed in the grave. I didn’t fully step out with God and acknowledge His healing power over me until years later. It took more mess-ups, stubbornness and heartache to realize I had been stuck in the grave the whole time when Jesus was waiting on the other side to pull me out of an open jail cell. Realize, your old self has died and you have a new body in Christ. You can’t move forward without parting with that old self and fully claiming the grace to take to see that God truly heals and has healed you by HIS POWER. 🙏🏼

DAY 28:

“I AM SANCTIFIED!”

Sanctification is a beautiful word I learned about in the past few years which simply means to “have something made holy, freed, purified.” It’s an action caused by something to something. I think of it as a beautiful way to become spiritually mature and grow all while continually becoming purified as you grow closer to God. The Holy Spirit helps to do this within you as you abide more in God. He helps, corrects, teaches, and guides us to be more like Jesus every day. Sanctification like many types of transformation takes time, surrender, trust in the Lord and patience. The beauty about it is once you’ve received the gift of eternal life in Jesus and believed that He alone has died and rose again, the process of sanctification starts immediately. Fruit doesn’t always show up right away, it takes lots of pruning and shaping to learn and unlearn what we know about walking in the flesh versus in the Spirit. But we don’t do it alone💛

DAY 27:

“I AM ABLE TO DO HARD THINGS!”

This truth written from Paul’s perspective and experience shows how we all as Children of God have the strength to not only do but persevere through and in hardship. We have the strength of the Lion of Judah with the tenderness of the Lamb. God can truly help us through any situation we face. How empowering is it to know we don’t have to do anything in this world in our own strength? Now the question is, will you surrender that to the one that can do far more than you could ever expect or understand?

DAY 26:

“I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR!”

It’s because of the victory in Christ, the victory He won against darkness and death that we can claim victory over all battles. Whether they are battles we conqueror alongside the Lord or His battle we must surrender to Him to fight Himself for us, we are more than conquerors. So remember when you feel defeated today or in the future, that feeling of defeated isn’t the true spiritual reality. Understand that you don’t fight alone and the one fighting with you and for you is more mighty than all of the principalities, rulers, kings, and so much more!

DAY 25:

“I AM JOY-FILLED!”

Merry Christmas! Today may bring many emotions, memories, and experiences. These might he nostalgic, sad, magical, and so many other things. May today, you know how JOYFUL we can be ONLY because God has come to us as a child in the form of a baby. Jesus, our most precious gift of Joy that we as your children could EVER receive. It isn’t because of what we got today or didn’t get. Or those that were with us or with us in spirit. God is the most incredible gift the world could ever have and need. Thank you God for sending your son to be born so that we may have eternal life with YOU! That a beautiful baby boy named Jesus would become our LORD AND SAVIOR this day so many years ago! Wow. You are truly remarkable! May you find joy in any moment today, no matter how big or small it may be 🌟

DAY 24!

“I AM SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT!”

Another powerful statement as a believer and follower of Jesus. We have a HELPER, PROTECTOR, GUIDE, RESURRECTION POWER and SO MUCH MORE. To be sealed by the Holy Spirit means we choose allegiance to light, not the darkness anymore. We’ve been signed, sealed, and delivered! Amen 👏🏻

DAY 23:

“I AM DELIVERED!”

It’s beautiful to hear how God hears your pleas, your cries, your joys, and everything in-between. He is worthy of being sought first above anything else in this life. I love how in this specific psalm by David, He seeks God, God hears his struggles and fears and delivers David from his FEARS. Did you catch that? Sometimes God doesn’t deliver you OUT of your circumstances. Sometimes God delivers you out of the mental state you’re in and equips you to stand in the midst of the trials with more strength. His strength. Regardless of what He delivers is from, it’s what we need and God knows this!

“I AM DELIGHTED IN!”

God delights in you, His child. He is GLAD over you! He even SINGS songs over you!? What?! God sings over US? YES! How beautiful is that? May you take comfort in His delight for you 🩷

DAY 21:

“I AM PROTECTED!”

Whether we see it or not, God is protecting us from something far worse than what we’re experiencing. We can’t quite see all the spiritual warfare around us but we experience it. Thankfully we have a God that has already won the battles and has victory of Darkness. He is our hiding place and we can run to Him anytime we need. Not just in the hard times but in the good as well!

DAY 20:

“I AM NOT ALONE!”

This is one of my all time favorite scriptures that God uses when it comes to the story of Joshua and his story to lead Israel. This scripture can be a lesson for leadership and life. When it comes to the narrow path that God tells us to follow, it can feel as though you are alone. When it comes to being a leader of that path can feel even more lonely. However, you are NEVER alone. The enemy wants to use that to sway you and bring you back to the ‘comfort’ of what you’re used to. God is with you, He is faithful, He will never abandon or leave you. At times it may feel that way yet our choices could be the reason we feel that way. So remember, you are not alone when you have God!

DAY 19:

“I AM EQUIPPED!”

Ever hear that saying, “God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called?” It’s one of my favorite phrases because it’s true and most times, we feel as people that we need to be fully qualified before we can do God’s work. Even showing up to church, the world has told us we need to be “perfect” to show up in God’s house. How very opposite it is! We can NEVER qualify or even equip ourselves on our own terms to do the Lord’s work. We were never made to do so. We were created to depend on His qualifications and tools to equip US to do HIS work. We just simply need to show up, trust Him, and persevere. 💛

DAY 18:

“I AM HIS BELOVED!”

We are God’s beloved! His “cherished, chosen, highly esteemed and unconditionally loved” children. And because of this love that encompasses us, we must love others out of that overflow. Now, more than ever🩵 This holiday season (and so many others) can feel like anything but “lovely” for some. Some may not know how truly loved they are and what God thinks about them versus what they have told themselves or others have said about them. You have been and will always be God’s beloved. That can NEVER be taken away!
