Sub-Zero temps in Denver didn’t slow down IOF this wknd!

Had the pleasure of teaching docs interventional procedures as well do bunch of filming new content for IOF for our newest procedural course - peripheral nerve hydrodissection! Interventional Orthobiologics Foundation - our first offering of this course will be at our annual IOF MAX !

After long weekends like this - def feel the hangover but able to wake up with my man for coffee talk and re-energized for the work wk!

Love teaching as this really solidifies my own knowledge base and directly improves my own patient care!

Thanks for all the attendees for braving the weather this weekend - these courses likely feel like drinking through a fire-hydrant with all the new knowledge and skills we go through!

Using a blind technique these days is considered non-standard of care. When safety and effective treatment has been shown over and over again that ultrasound guidance is the safest and most effective option….. especially in high level athlete …

Moral of the story is that if you don’t know how to do it under guidance — don’t do it at all and refer to someone who can

Nice images of a 75yr old w acute right leg and back pain causing her to use a walker to get around.
MRI - showed arthritis in facet joint causing cyst to compress her nerve combined w a small disc bulge.

Few weeks after a prp precise injection where drained the cyst and treated capsule / facet and epidurals with PRP…. Cyst resolved and arthritic joint showing some remodeling …. Plus all symptoms resolved 😎

Long travel day yesterday …. Landed and work’n hard on island time for the next 2 weeks!!

making my life easier - first day and have already seen bunch patients and several bone marrow aspirations and feet feeling great… def doctor approved and the black on black look great w the scrubs!
