My favorite thing about being Blackfeet is being a fighter. I come from a long line of warriors. Many of my ancestors were veterans, as well as wildland firefighters. I’ve heard so many war stories from my family that it inspired me to join the United States Marine Corps. I served honorably and deployed. Served in both OIF and OEF. I sacrificed many years of my life to my country, USA, and I wouldn’t live anywhere else in the world. Here I have a right to speak my truth without fear of persecution. I know my rights and I know when they have been violated. This is the United States 🇺🇸 and I’m leading by example. Everyone has a right to have a voice in the decisions made by their elected representatives. When we realize that, we will be able to change the course we are currently on.

Allowing the BTBC run this tribe with powers outside the Blackfeet Constitution, we might as well just give up our tribe and our reservation and become totally assimilated!!!! Kill the Indian and save the man! The United States does the same exact thing. They create Federal Indian Policy, usually without the input of the tribe or they claim unconstitutional powers like guardianship.

March is the month where the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council uses tribal funds & venues (meant for tribal enrolled members) and spends it on a non-member, benefiting her and her only. Well I guess when tribal members elect their representatives, and the first action they make is hiring a non-member to be their secretary, giving him one of the highest paid secretarial positions via nepotism. Then the BTBC secretly enrolls 3 people, just to later rescind and abolish their future of ever enrolling into our tribe. Nepotism doesn’t make you a tribal CITIZEN/MEMBER! Everything they are doing is unconstitutional! And giving a non-member a headdress with Eagle or hawk feathers is a federal crime! If you substitute her headdress with other feathers, you might as well just purchase it from a hobbyist who makes Native Regalia for anyone.

Blackfeet Enrolled Tribal members are allowed to ask questions about tribal affairs. Especially if our BTBC is funding it. It is your Blackfeet Enrolled business. The best place to ask your questions is at the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council General Meeting, usually held the first Thursday of every month.

On February 21, 2024 Councilman Patrick Armstrong (tribal secretary) held a special session without the two other executive members, Chairman Kipp and Vice Chairman Monroe. Somehow, Councilman Derosier has been appointed acting chairman of the Blackfeet Tribal Council and councilman Patrick Armstrong is still tribal secretary, even in the absence of the chairman and vice chairman.

What’s going on at the tribal office??? What is councilman Patrick Armstrong doing changing policy ?????

Why is Councilman Robert Derosier acting chairman? Why isn’t Councilman Armstrong acting? I thought if the chairman and the vice-chairman were absent, then it would just moved down to the secretary? Wth is going on? Why is the chairman absent? Why is the vice-chairman absent? Why is only one member of the executive committee holding special sessions???? Hostile takeover????

Without a Judicial Branch, which has to be equal to the BTBC, the Tribal Council can and will continue to make up resolutions that are unconstitutional. No one has the authority to review their actions. What is their ultimate plan? Just make themselves forever council and never allow another election???? Right now, that’s the kind of power they have.

The Blackfeet Tribal Business Council has rewritten the policy again! Now all finances are streamlined directly to the Treasurer ( Lionel Kennerly). If you haven’t read up on the minutes Lionel Kennerly was under a tribal investigation while he was the Higher Education Director. I don’t know why because the minutes are always vague.

Councilman Armstrong (the secretary) is completely disregarding his duties. What’s next??? Are they going to just appoint themselves our LORDS and rule us???

Fire them all!!!! Communism at its finest!

3 years ago the Blackfeet Tribe was awarded $30 million because an IHS doctor had sexually molested his young, male patients. That money was supposed to go towards building a Wellness Center. Councilman Lauren Monroe was the chairman of that committee. Now he’s accused of being a sexual predator and he was in charge of the Wellness Center project, which has not been started, YET!!!! I guess when you’re apart of the problem, you really don’t want healing in your community.

Now our youth have received another settlement for the highly addictive substance known as va**ng (electronic ci******es), due to its advertisement geared towards minors. My question is, DO WE HAVE YOUTH SUFFERING FROM LUNG INJURIES, SEIZURES, AND OTHER RELATED HEALTH CONDITIONS????

I really hope that OUR BTBC isn’t going to embezzle the money meant to save our youth suffering from lung injuries!!!!

Stop our councils corruption and save our youth!

The Blackfeet Tribal Business Council isn’t a stepping stone to become the next Montana Congressman or 1st Native American President, it’s a jumpstart in a lifetime of crime and corruption.
